paid Python Developer Internship at Clean Energy Trust (CET)

Posted March 28, 2014

Are you an ambitious and determined problem solver?

Are you an entrepreneur at heart?

Do you love technology and innovation?

Clean Energy Trust (CET) is leading the charge to jump-start the clean energy economy in the Midwest region. Launched in 2010 by a group of Chicago-area civic and business leaders, the Trust has quickly grown into a leadership position, earning both local and national recognition as a disruptive force in the clean energy community.

We are excited to announce a new opportunity to join our team as a Python Developer Intern. A successful candidate will be self-directed and able to manage multiple projects independently, but will also be able to work collaboratively with our external web design shop. Candidates are expected to be detail-oriented and organized.  The position requires Django experience, comfort with ambiguity, the ability to manage tight deadlines concurrently. Finally, candidates should demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as this role requires significant documentation and communication directly with project managers and the CTO.

If selected, candidates will get direct exposure to thought leaders in clean technology, research, finance, and business. While candidates should expect to work in a fast-paced environment, there is significant opportunity for both personal and professional development. The opportunity is what you make of it. This is a paid position for spring and summer 2014, with the opportunity to continue work at CET post-internship.
