Description
Basic Qualifications
The following qualifications are required:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; accounting or MIS degree desirable
  • Ability to prioritize job responsibilities in a dynamic and rapidly changing work environment
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are desirable, but not required:
  • 1 - 3 years’ experience with PeopleSoft Financials 8.4 or greater    
  • Familiarity with writing basic SQL queries
  • Solid understanding of business analysis and accounting practices
Job Description
The Junior Business Analyst is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global rollout and support team implementing PeopleSoft Financials 9.0.  The ideal candidate will possess an energetic attitude, a commitment to process, attention to detail and the proven ability to be a team player.  While 1-3 years’ experience with PeopleSoft 8.4 or greater is preferred, candidates with the right attitude and work ethic are welcome.
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
  • Troubleshooting help desk tickets and production support issues, designing solutions for issues, opening and managing cases with Oracle or other vendors
  • Testing of fixes or new functionality to ensure flawless delivery 
  • Providing functional PeopleSoft expertise to end users and the technical team
  • Gathering business requirements, creating detailed functional specifications and working with the technical team to implement those designs    
  • Helping to identify business problems and proposing potential solutions
  • Assisting with the ongoing global implementation of the PeopleSoft Financials system
  • Maintaining documentation on procedures
As a Junior Business Analyst, you will receive training and mentorship to help you fulfill these responsibilities and succeed.
Travel Requirements
This position may require occasional domestic or international travel.
