IT Department
Magellan IT manages a custom data environment called MICS. The MICS system tracks purchasing, inventory, sales, distribution, invoicing and accounts receivable.
Responsibilities
Magellan seeks a Junior Software Engineer Intern extremely competent in software programming to assist in writing C#/WinForms and SQL code to support MICS. This programmer will work on a range of projects from routine maintenance and bug fixes to constructing enhancements to designing and developing entirely new sub-systems.
Internship
The internship spans a six month term for 20 hours a week, with a flexible work schedule and compensation of $20 per hour. It offers an excellent opportunity to enhance a resume/CV with real industrial software development experience. Please understand that this temporary position is designed to partially cover for an engineer on a leave of absence, and there can be no expectation of full time employment after the term of the internship.
