Required skills include …
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science
- .NET (C#) (mainly service architecture)
- 6 months – 1 year of relevant work experience
- Demonstrable experience, knowledge, interest in Object Oriented Programming and Relational Databases
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
- SQL performance tuning (mainly indexing and SQL command tuning)
- Infrastructure knowledge

While our customers receive discounted rates for off-site development work, a certain amount of on-site work is required and represents approximately 50% of development work over the long-run. There may very well be instances where on-site work extends for months.

Simplified AX specializes in computer programming services to enhance and implement a particular business software platform, Microsoft Dynamics AX. This software is a platform for a businesses to manage their production, supply chain, and back-office functions (among other things). We are a small, but growing, company with about a half dozen employees. Most of our employees operate remotely with a mix of on-site (at a client’s offices) and off-site (at home offices) work.
Industry
We are a consulting company. Our customers represent any company that uses Microsoft Dynamics AX as their Enterprise Resource Planning software system. The customers can operate in any industry, though our current portfolio of clients operate in the manufacturing, entertainment and energy industries.
Position
We are seeking a full-time employee with a background in computer science and a desire to perform consulting work for a variety of customers. The core work product will be computer programming to enhance or implement the software system for clients. We offer a training program to build a candidate’s skill-set. It would be ideal if the candidate had a consulting background, as we are extremely entrepreneurial in nature and are looking for individuals with the drive/motivation to seek work and advance their skill-set/career.
